If you are in need of a therapeutic session, focusing on specific acute or chronic issues such as on-going back pain, shoulder pain or limitation or soft tissue injuries such as being caused by an automobile accident, please contact me to discuss options and to schedule an in-office appointment.

If you are contacting me to discuss gentle touch massage for end of life and hospice care, I will be happy to discuss options and scheduling. I will go to the home where the client resides; no need to come to my office. Hospice massage or end of life massage, is a very gentle, supportive and comforting touch that is very different from other massage styles and techniques.

Massages are by appointment and are customized to meet your needs depending on what you are experiencing. Many of my clients suffer from the daily stresses of life; many present with lower back pain, stiff and sore neck and shoulders: common, modern day complaints. As a therapeutic massage therapist, I combine and apply specific techniques to address these issues. Some of the techniques I use are: Swedish massage, Therapeutic massage, Ortho-Bionomy, Sports massage, Deep Tissue and Comfort Touch.

My clientele is varied. Some are social workers, attorneys, nurses, business owners, office workers, fire fighters and athletes to mention a few. I have had the honor of providing massage and gentle touch for the medically frail, the elderly and provided comfort touch for folks at the end of their lives in hospice care.

I also work with individuals who are living with cancer. Oncology massage is an effective form of bodywork that supports the entire body: physically, emotionally, and often spiritually. By providing focused, gentle work, which combines, eastern medicine techniques to compliment western medical treatments, cancer patients report that they feel better. This form of massage supports anyone at any stage of cancer; whether the person is actively in treatment, such as surgery, chemotherapy or radiation, or someone who is in remission or is a cancer survivor. Oncology massage offers a drug-free, non-invasive, supportive and humanistic approach to help the body heal itself.

As a massage therapist trained specifically to work with people living with cancer, I know the benefits of massage and make adaptations that meet the needs of each individual as specific conditions arise during cancer treatment. The human touch is important for anyone and is especially true for those who are struggling with a life threatening disease. Providing a professional, nurturing, therapeutic and compassionate massage for those challenged by cancer, is my aspiration.

Please let me know if you are experiencing stress, have any muscular pain, fatigue, tightness or if you would simply like a nice soothing and relaxing massage. I'm here to help!
